Project Definition

The Asian Heritage Row (AHR) which located in Jalan Doraisamy, Kuala Lumpur has developed into one of the tourist attraction. The overall of idea of position this place I personally think is well done by them. The bad site of this great tourist attraction spot which contain a poor webpage is really pulling down the image of this place and also as a tourist attraction with a webpage which is not with a good design and usability is mostly unacceptable. So, in order to bring AHR further up their position will be redesign the webpage.

Current Site’s Analysis Goals

For the information part overall is quiet informative nothing much to add in. The goals for the site is mostly to promote the area which contains different restaurant and lounge that located there. Basically, the design of the website is not appealing and also giving a bad first impression for the audience. Even with proves of media and article with the first bad impression being bring follow is still harm for the market. Providing an up to date promotion sand events to keep the site look up to date and also links are fly all over the places which is a bit inconsistence.

Client’s Analysis

Targeted client are mostly youngster and adult who like a new fresh feeling. The main selling point of this place is houses that were once abandoned and ignored, have now been given new life with F&B outlets of international standards, yet its rich heritage have not yet being forgotten. Asian Heritage Row was developed to encapsulate the city's past, present and future. As with most great cities of the world, which have their unique cultural and leisure districts, Asian Heritage Row aims to position itself as a new landmark for the city as a cultural, dining and entertainment district for both international tourists and locals.

Short & Long-term Site Goals

To maintain the site to keep it alive, the main thing is update the upcoming events and promotions. Well as the site look more alive it may possible get some feedback from customer regarding particular restaurant that can be improve or maybe subscribing the newsletter from the site.

Target Audience

Customers that will probably viewing this site will probably be tourist or local. For tourist maybe their main objective is to know more information about this place and also how to get there. For local they probably wanted to know more about promotions or events that are coming. There are several way of engagement can be made such as dropping down the website in a newspaper or magazine article or providing the website in various travelling recommendation site.

Competitor’s Analysis

The primary competitor for this place will definitely be other tourist attraction spot such as Suria KLCC, Sunway Lagoon, Genting Highlands or other unique clubbing places.
